Alissa Demian

Alissa has participated and studied in hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, tap, ballet, and musical theater at Jeanette Neill in Boston, and the Dance Complex, as well as taking part in workshops for teachers provided by National Competition Venues.

She also studied at the University of New Hampshire, where she minored in Dance. She has taught ballet, tap, contemporary/lyrical, hip-hop, jazz, creative movement and musical theater. While teaching at Exeter High School, she established and coached a dance team that participated in competitions and performed at basketball and football games.

Alissa has choreographed dance routines that have competed and won choreography awards, top-5 duet and solo placements, top-10 group routines, and special judges awards. She has also co-choreographed the mini productions Wonka and Jungle Book. In addition to dance, Alissa received a BS in Family Studies from UNH and a Special Education K-12 Teaching Certificate. She currently works at Elm Street Middle School in Nashua, NH.
